The goal of search engine optimisation is to have the search engine spiders not only find your site and pages but also specifically rank the page relevance so that it appears at the top of the search engine results. The process of optimisation is not a one-time process but requires maintenance, tuning, and continuous testing and monitoring.

1. You should have one fixed topic

Topic selection is one of the important step to optimise your website. You should choose on fixed topic in which you are interested and can explain or could be able to provide your best. 2. Pick good keywords to focus on.

Keywords is another important factor for seo. So before writing contents please search good keywords which are having high search volume with less competition. You can search keyword from Google Keyword Planner or from some other websites.

Contents is the most important factor for ranking your site. Follow your competitors and try to write more informative and more words than them. Many peoples are thinking that small content may effect more but this is my personal experience that your should write at least more than 3000 words. More content will help you to rank and also helpful for readers and visitors. If peoples are founding everything in proper manner and properly written then they will start visiting your site continuously and will suggest or refer too.

Now that you know what your competition looks like,

This should be a no-brainer, but I'll say it anyway: Your page title should contain your keyword, but that doesn't mean it has to be exact (though it can be).

Include words that reflect your site topic in the image title, description, and alt attributes. Also, re-title the file name if it doesn’t reflect your main keywords (e.g. writing-tips.jpg instead of d1234.jpg).

If you can create back links then its really good or you can request some famous similar site owner to provide you back links. Personally i use to request some popular similar site owner to give me at least one back link. 

12. Update your website frequently

Sites with dynamic content often rank higher than those with static content. That’s why blogs and directories (like Wikipedia) do so well on search engines. They are constantly being updated with new content.
